Cranksgiving in Cleveland Heights – Nov. 19
Cleveland’s cycling community is once again raising food for disadvantaged families and senior citizens this holiday season!
Bike Cleveland will host Cleveland’s fifth-annual Cranksgiving, on Saturday, November 19, 10:30 – 2 p.m.
This is a fun bicycle food drive taking place at Cleveland Heights City Hall, 40 Severance Circle in Cleveland Heights.
The Cranksgiving event is for cyclists of all ages and skill levels. When participants arrive at CH City Hall, they will receive a map of nearby grocery stores. Participants ride to several of the stores on the map to purchase food items.
Cyclists are asked to spend about $15 – or as much you can carry – and ride about fifteen miles.
Everything purchased must be hauled by bicycle back to CH City Hall.
The donated food will be distributed to Heights area citizens who in need.
