Celebrate a century of bikes and books! Learn the history of the local Heights Library with a lecture and bicycle tour. This collaboration between Heights Libraries, the Heights Bike Coalition and Cleveland Heights Historical Society begins with a 30-minute presentation in the Coventry Library Meeting Room followed by a bike ride to the Noble and Lee Road libraries. Along the way we’ll see the inside our libraries and restock a Little Free Library.
Ohio City Bicycle Coop Social Ride

This monthly Social Ride gets all kinds of different folks on bikes for some casual sightseeing in the downtown area. The October ride is a tour of bike infrastructure and industry. More info.
Bikes N’Brew 2016

Tap Stack Buckeye Brewing Smokestack, 9941 Walford Ave., Cleveland. This is a fund raiser for Bike Cleveland. Bikes N’Brew features five local breweries which you will visit on this unsupported bicycle tour through Cleveland and its surrounding suburbs. There will be 20-ish mile & 40-ish mile suggested route option with cue sheets & maps provided. Limited to the 21 and over crowd and 150 participants, advance tickets are $25, day of – $35 if not already sold out. Pro tip: it’ll sell out.

This is a free ride of 50 or 25 miles. A map and cider stop are provided. NO other services are provided. NO sag wagon, NO snack stops, NO closed course, NO first aid cars, NO food. Get the idea? Then come prepared! The route does go through a couple of small towns where food may be purchased if you need it. The attendance is usually between 50 and 250 depending on the weather. Donations up to 50 cents are cheerfully accepted for this ride. This ride is sponsored by the Medina County Bicycle Club of Medina, Ohio

This traditional end of the touring season event provides homemade cookies, soups, oatmeal bar, and all the food you can eat. This very scenic tour features a rolling 64-mile route that visits the historic canal port town of Milan, birthplace of inventor Thomas A. Edison. The rolling and scenic 32-miler visits the quaint town of Birmingham. Ride dedicated to the memory of Bob Williams, founder of both this event and its hosting club, the Lorain Wheelmen Bicycle Club.
